Orlando Escape Rooms: Escapology
Escape games, the one-hour puzzle-solving adventure is a minor obsession of ours. Between the two of us, we have done over 20 different rooms (most of them together) and look forward to doing many, many more. Even though the idea behind escape games are the same, different escape game companies do their rooms ever-so-slightly different. We’ve had the great privilege to do many of Orlando’s escape games and it all started with Escapology.
Note: We were not sponsored for this post, we did this on our own.
Escapology
When it comes to Orlando escape games, Escapology is the one we did first, and the one we’ve done the most. Located on International Drive (just a short drive from Disney Springs), Escapology is a great place to experience a smaller, more intimate escape room and our choice for the place to do your first-ever Orlando escape game. We don’t mean to imply Escapology has easy games, their games can be as difficult as any, but the way they set their games up are different than some of the bigger rooms and are more conducive to first-timers.
The biggest reason Escapology is a good choice for your first Orlando escape game is because the rooms are private. It doesn’t matter if your group is two people or ten, if you book a room at Escapology it is yours and yours alone. Not having to worry about strangers being in the room with you calms the nerves and makes for an easier first time.
Even if it isn’t your first time in an escape room, the smaller rooms are better for a family or small group of friends. It can be hard to gather six to ten people together for an activity and even harder to do it last minute. Escapology’s smaller rooms can comfortably fit three or four people, which is a bit easier to manage. Add in the guarantee that you’ll never play with strangers and you can do a room with as little as two people.
If you’ve never done an escape room before, or looking for something fun to do with just a few friends, you can’t go wrong with one of our favorite Orlando escape games: Escapology.
