BaseLine Tap House Review
As Orlando locals and Disney annual passholders, our trips to the parks can be pretty short. We may not always want to have a full meal, which is why a place like BaseLine Tap House at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a perfect spot. Find out why we think this low-key corner pub is a must-do.
The Drinks
There are an array of beers on tap, primarily from California. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and can help guide you in the right direction if you are unsure what you want. Don’t be afraid to ask for samples too.
We are big fans of the flights because it allows for more opportunity to sample the menu. The Golden Road Hefeweizen is a solid choice if you like Blue Moon-type beers. For something a little different, we recommend the North Coast Cherry Berliner Weisse. Neither of us are fans of IPAs, but there are a few on the menu. If you elect to go all in on one beer, you can choose between a 16 oz and 22 oz pour.
If you are not into beer, there are non-alcoholic drinks, two options for wine, a Blood Orange hard cider and two cocktails on the menu as well.
The Food
BaseLine Tap House is not the place to go if you are looking for a big meal. This is a great place for a light snack. There are four options when it comes to food – Bavarian Pretzel, California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate, Coffee-rubbed Rib-eye Steak Puff with Olive Salad and Spiced Almonds.
Our two favorites include the pretzel and cheese and charcuterie plate. The pretzel comes with beer cheese fondue and spicy mustard. If you aren’t a fan of mustard, you can double up on the cheese. The cheese and charcuterie plate is one of our go-to’s to share.
Our Verdict?
If you are looking for a hearty meal, then BaseLine Tap House will probably leave you hungry. If, however, you are looking for a snack along with a unique brew, then you have to put BaseLine Tap House on your list.
